<p>Role: Standard & Controls Engineer</p><p>Location: West Midlands</p><p>Employment Type: Contract (Renewable)</p><p><br><br>If you think you are the right match for the following opportunity, apply after reading the complete description.<br></p><p><strong>Role Responsibilities;</strong></p><p><br></p><p>•To manage the overall planning, co-ordination and delivery of Control systems and standards to ensure production ready equipment interfaces.</p><p>•Maintain close working relationships with other Manufacturing Engineering teams, Manufacturing Operations, and IT Departments.</p><p>•Provide technical expertise to problem solving activities to accurately identify root cause and corrective actions.</p><p>•Maintain Technical Standards, Project Books and specifications for all Manufacturing systems in line with the departments Bill of Process, global standard operating practices and Jaguar Land Rover quality systems.</p><p>•Maintain interfaces specifications from Shop Floor PLC’s/Applications to Manufacturing Execution Systems.</p><p>•Commission and work on machine monitoring/quality systems within Production facilities.</p><p>•Developing new suppliers, cost effectively, into the groups Standards for Equipment Manufacture.</p><p>•Undertake any other work as directed by their line manager in connection with their job as may be requested.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Skills & Experience;</strong></p><p><br></p><p>•Building trust by speaking openly and honestly, listening attentively, and treating others respectfully.</p><p>•Making a difference through our results.
