We’re looking for an experienced Test Technician to support the build and development of advanced electric drive systems in a fast-paced R&D environment.</p><p>This is a fantastic chance to work at the forefront of electric propulsion technology, operating advanced dynamometer facilities and supporting innovative engineering programmes shaping the future of mobility.</p><p>What You’ll Be Doing:</p><ul><li>Setting up and operating dynamometers, test rigs, and associated equipment</li><li>Installing motors, inverters, gearboxes, and units under test</li><li>Configuring sensors, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems</li><li>Running performance, durability, efficiency, and validation testing</li><li>Monitoring tests, identifying faults, and ensuring safe, repeatable execution</li><li>Capturing, validating, and logging test data accurately</li><li>Supporting engineers with analysis and reporting of results</li><li>Maintaining and calibrating dynos, sensors, and test equipment</li><li>Troubleshooting rig and equipment issues</li><li>Helping improve test methods, fixtures, and facility capability</li><li>Maintaining a safe, organised, and efficient test environment</li></ul><p>What We’re Looking For:</p><ul><li>Experience operating test rigs for motors, inverters, or electric drive systems</li><li>Strong electrical and electromechanical fault-finding skills</li><li>Proficiency with oscilloscopes, multimeters, power analysers, DAQ systems, and insulation testers</li><li>Good xwzovoh data handling and reporting skills</li><li>Mechanical and electrical installation/maintenance experience</li><li>Knowledge of HV safety, lockout/tagout, and safe systems of work</li><li>Excellent attention to detail and documentation discipline</li></ul><p>Contract Details:</p><ul><li>Start: May</li><li>Duration: Initially up to 8 weeks (with strong likelihood of extension)</li></ul><p>If you’re a skilled Test Technician looking to work on advanced electric propulsion technology within a high-performing engineering environment, we’d love to hear from you.</p><p>Apply now or contact ARCA Resourcing for more information.</p>
