<p><strong>Construction Estimator</strong></p><p>Coventry (Office-based with occasional site visits)</p><p>£40,000 – £60,000 + Package</p><p><br><br>If you are considering sending an application, make sure to hit the apply button below after reading through the entire description.<br></p><p><br></p><p>NEOS Engineering are currently working with a well-established and growing contractor who are looking to appoint a <strong>Construction Estimator</strong> to join their expanding tendering team.</p><p>This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with a strong <strong>civils or groundworks background</strong>, combined with <strong>commercial or Quantity Surveying experience</strong>, to play a key role in securing large-scale project work.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>The Role:</strong></p><p>You will be responsible for supporting the tendering process, focusing on the <strong>civils and groundwork elements</strong> of major new projects. Working alongside an existing Mechanical Estimator, you’ll be involved in producing accurate costings and contributing to competitive, high-quality submissions.</p><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Preparing detailed cost estimates for civils and groundworks packages</li><li>Reviewing drawings, specifications, and tender documentation</li><li>Liaising with suppliers and subcontractors for quotations</li><li>Supporting the preparation of tender submissions</li><li>Attending site visits where required</li><li>Working closely with internal teams to ensure accurate project pricing</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>The Candidate:</strong></p><ul><li>Proven experience in estimating within <strong>civils, groundworks, or construction</strong></li><li>Background in <strong>Quantity Surveying or commercial roles</strong> is highly desirable</li><li>Strong understanding of UK construction practices xwzovoh and terminology</li><li>Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications</li><li>Good communication and organisational skills</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>The Package:</strong></p><ul><li>Salary between £40,000 – £60,000 depending on experience</li><li>Opportunity to join a growing business with a strong pipeline of work</li><li>Long-term career progression within the commercial/tendering team</li></ul><p><br></p><p><br></p><p>If this opportunity is of interest, please apply or get in touch with NEOS Engineering for a confidential conversation.</p>
