Reporting to the Head of Public Fundraising, you will play a key role in shaping strategy, driving income growth and building a high-performing team that delivers exceptional supporter experiences.</p><p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>As Community & Events Fundraising Manager, you will lead and inspire a dedicated fundraising team, bringing structure, innovation and accountability to the Community & Events function. You will oversee a diverse portfolio of community fundraising activity, mass participation events and special events, while developing clear plans to achieve sustainable income growth.</p><p><strong>Key responsibilities include:</strong></p><ul><li>Leading and developing a motivated, high performing fundraising team</li><li>Translating fundraising strategy into clear operational plans and delivery roadmaps</li><li>Managing budgets, KPIs and income targets</li><li>Driving supporter engagement and stewardship excellence</li><li>Developing new fundraising products and events</li><li>Using data and CRM insight to improve performance and supporter journeys</li><li>Ensuring fundraising compliance and best practice</li><li>Acting as an ambassador for St Luke’s Hospice across the community</li></ul><p><strong>About You</strong></p><p>We are looking for a collaborative and strategic fundraising leader with:</p><ul><li>Proven experience managing teams within a fundraising or income generation environment</li><li>Strong Community and/or Events fundraising experience with a track record of income growth</li><li>Experience managing budgets, KPIs and business plans</li><li>Excellent leadership, planning and organisational skills</li><li>Strong understanding of supporter stewardship and fundraising best practice</li><li>Experience using CRM systems and data insight effectively</li><li>A genuine commitment to the mission and values of hospice care</li></ul><p>This role would suit someone who thrives on motivating others, improving ways of working and delivering meaningful impact through fundraising.</p><p> </p><p><strong>Salary: up to £42,000 per annum</strong></p><p><strong>Contract type: Permanent, full time </strong></p><p><strong>Location: London, Harrow, hybrid working- 2 days in the office</strong></p><p><strong>Deadline: 28th May at 8am</strong></p><p><strong>Interview: 1st round on 5th June</strong></p><p><strong> 2nd round on 10th June</strong></p><p>Recruitment process: Cv and Supporting Statement to Dagmara at Harris Hill.</p><p> </p><p>If this sounds like you, then please do get in touch ASAP!</p><p>As leading charity recruitment specialists and a certified B Corp™, Harris Hill is committed to high and ever-improving standards of equitable and inclusive recruitment. xwzovoh We actively welcome applications from all sections of the community regardless of age, disability, gender, race, religion, sexuality and other protected characteristics.</p><p> </p><p> </p>
