<p><strong>Commissioning Manager | Luxury Care Home | Elderly Residential & Dementia Care</strong></p><p><strong>Bowdon, Manchester</strong></p><p><br><br>All potential candidates should read through the following details of this job with care before making an application.<br></p><p><strong>Salary: </strong> £70,000 + £75,000 + benefits</p><p><br></p><p>Are you an experienced Care Home Manager with strong commercial acumen and a passion for building services from the ground up?</p><p>Do you enjoy developing teams, engaging with the community, and driving occupancy in a premium care setting?</p><p>Are you looking for an opportunity where you can shape both the home and the wider business during an exciting growth phase?</p><p><br></p><p><strong>If so, this presents a unique opportunity to lead the commissioning and launch of a brand-new luxury care home in one of the most desirable areas of Greater Manchester.</strong></p><p><br></p><p>Compass Associates are proud to be working exclusively in partnership with an emerging, innovative care provider to recruit a Home Manager for a brand-new, purpose-built luxury care home in Bowdon.</p><p><br></p><p>This is a commissioning role, offering the opportunity to lead a 51-bed service, primarily focused on self-funding residents, delivering high-quality residential and dementia care with a strong lifestyle-led approach.</p><p><br></p><p>The successful candidate will play a pivotal role not only in opening the home, but in shaping the culture, systems, and future direction of the organisation as it scales.</p><p><br></p><p>You will be responsible for leading the home from pre-opening through to full occupancy, with a strong emphasis on community engagement, marketing, and commercial performance, alongside maintaining exceptional care standards.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Lead the commissioning and opening of a new luxury care home</li><li>Take full responsibility for day-to-day operational management</li><li>Drive occupancy through marketing, networking, and community engagement</li><li>Recruit, develop, and lead a high-performing care and leadership team</li><li>Oversee CQC registration, compliance, and governance frameworks</li><li>Implement systems, processes, and operational structures from inception</li><li>Manage relationships with external partners, including technology and service providers</li><li>Ensure delivery of a premium, person-centred care experience</li><li>Balance commercial performance with quality outcomes</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>The Candidate</strong></p><p>To be considered for this position, you will have:</p><ul><li>Registered Nurse (RGN/RMN) qualification -
