Commercial Valuation Surveyor<br><br>Hit Apply below to send your application for consideration Ensure that your CV is up to date, and that you have read the job specs first.<br>Rugby (covering the East and West Midlands region)<br>Job Overview<br>My client are seeking a Commercial Valuation Surveyor to undertake Red Book valuations, primarily for secured lending purposes, across industrial, office, and retail properties throughout the East and West Midlands.<br>This role will play a key part in supporting the growth of the Commercial Valuations business, working closely with Partners and building strong client relationships to further develop the team.<br>Responsibilities<br> * Deliver valuations for financial reporting, loan security, and other purposes in line with RICS Valuation – Global Standards.<br> * Conduct property inspections, measure floor and site areas, and carry out comparable, demographic, and economic research.<br> * Undertake planning and statutory enquiries, lease reviews, and analysis of comparables.<br> * Prepare valuation reports in accordance with client instructions.<br> * Build a strong understanding of the office and industrial property markets, including trends and regulatory changes.<br> * Develop and maintain professional relationships with clients, including banks, private clients, and other key stakeholders.<br> * Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the commercial valuation sector.<br> * Ensure compliance with internal quality standards and risk management procedures.<br> * Carry out other related tasks as required.<br>Targets<br> * Achieve annual financial performance targets and objectives as agreed.<br>Skills & Qualifications<br>Essential:<br> * Relevant property-related degree.<br> * MRICS or FRICS qualification and RICS Registered Valuer status.<br> * Minimum 3 years’ post-qualification experience.<br> * Strong understanding of commercial property valuation techniques.<br> * High level of computer literacy, including property IT systems and MS Office.<br> * Proven ability to manage a varied caseload independently.<br> * Excellent report-writing skills with strong attention to detail.<br> * Good knowledge of the commercial property market across the Midlands.<br> * Excellent written and verbal communication skills.<br> * Strong organisational and time-management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines.<br> * Clean Professional Indemnity record.<br> * Full UK driving licence and access to own vehicle.<br> * Experience in valuing industrial, retail, and office property.<br>Desirable:<br> * Strong analytical and numerical ability.<br> * Experience with secured lending valuations.<br> * Familiarity with development appraisals, including residual valuations. xwzovoh <br> * Knowledge of tax-related valuations, such as inheritance tax or capital gains.<br> * Some residential valuation experience would be advantageous
