Commercial Gas Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Commercial Gas Engineer to join our growing team, working across the Midlands. The role involves attending care homes and apartment blocks , carrying out breakdowns, fault finding, and repairs within boiler rooms and plant rooms .<br><br>To be considered for an interview, please make sure your application is full in line with the job specs as found below.<br>This is a field-based role suited to a proactive engineer with strong diagnostic skills and experience in commercial heating systems.<br><br>K ey Responsibilities<br>Attend reactive breakdowns and emergency call-outs<br><br>Diagnose and repair faults on commercial gas boilers and plant equipment<br><br>Work within boiler rooms and plant rooms in care homes and residential apartment blocks<br><br>Carry out safe isolation, testing, and recommissioning of gas appliances<br><br>Complete job reports and documentation accurately<br><br>Ensure all work complies with current Gas Safe and health & safety regulations<br><br>Liaise professionally with site managers, caretakers, and residents where required<br><br>Required Skills & Experience<br>Proven experience as a Commercial Gas Engineer<br><br>Strong fault-finding and breakdown experience<br><br>Experience working in boiler rooms and plant rooms<br><br>Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively<br><br>Good customer-facing xwzovoh and communication skills<br><br>Qualifications<br>Valid Gas Safe Registration<br><br>Commercial Gas ACS qualifications (e.g. CODNCO1, CIGA1, CORT1, ICPN1, TPCP1/1A or equivalent)<br><br>Full UK driving licence<br><br>Whats on Offer<br>Competitive salary of £45,000 - £50,000 per year<br><br>Company van and fuel card provided<br><br>Stable, long-term work across the Midlands<br><br>Supportive team environment
