A beautiful 14 th century Tithe Barn is available for functions together with the Orangery, the Conservatory and a range of other meeting and private dining rooms.<br>Please see the Hotels website for a full overview of facilities.<br>The Role<br>The job holder has responsibility for the smooth operation of our Cocktail Bar, Function Bar and outdoor Terraces. Reporting to the F&B Manager your main duties Include.<br>Managing a Permanent & Casual team of 6 + bar staff<br>Completing monthly beverage stocktake and weekly ordering sheet.<br>Always ensure personal presentation of staff, both in terms of uniform and personal presentation/hygiene.<br>Ensure the bar is opened and closed according to SOPs.<br>Creating and developing seasonal cocktail & beverage menus<br>Achievement of Mystery Guest & AA Standards for the department.<br>Lead by example in achieving and implementing hotel key standards.<br>Presentation of front and back of house areas cleanliness/layup to SOP standard.<br>Ensure effective induction and training plans of all new starters.<br>Train, coach, and mentor the bar team to ensure excellent performance, and motivation of team at all times.<br>Ensure the team is briefed daily for any special service requirements, promotions, issues.<br>Liaise with the Restaurant and Bar Manager to develop and improve bar service offering to guests and visitors.<br>Requirements;<br>42 hours per week, various shifts over 5 days including weekends<br>Smart appearance and the passion and confidence to lead the team<br>Excellent communication skills with apassion for guest service<br>Ability to host with a warm and welcoming personality<br>Supervisory/management Experience within a quality bar operation ideally within a 4 star/ 5 Star rated Hotel preferred. xwzovoh <br>Ability to manage and motivate the team<br>Must have your own transport due to semi-rural location.
