The work is already running, and you will be supporting production within an established setup.<br><br>You will be machining precision components in an aerospace-focused environment where accuracy and consistency are key. The expectation is simple. Read the drawing, set it correctly, and produce parts to standard.<br><br>What the role looks like day to day:<br>You will be working on CNC milling machines producing components to tight tolerances, including some specialist materials.<br><br>You will manage your own work, carry out inspection, and keep things running throughout your shift.<br><br>What you will be doing:<br>Operating CNC milling machines<br>Setting and running jobs<br>Reading and working from engineering drawings<br>Machining components to tight tolerances<br>Inspecting parts using Verniers, micrometres and gauges<br>Making adjustments to maintain output<br>Supporting production during a busy period<br>Following quality standards including AS9100 and NADCAP<br>What they are looking for:<br>Proven CNC machining experience<br>Strong milling background<br>Able to read drawings and work independently<br>Confident with manual inspection equipment<br>Experience working to tight tolerances<br>Background in precision engineering, aerospace desirable<br>You need to be someone who can get up to speed quickly and work without close supervision.<br><br>Why take this contract :<br><br>It is a straightforward role focused on supporting production.
