<strong>Overview</strong> <br><br>The full job description covers all associated skills, previous experience, and any qualifications that applicants are expected to have.<br><br>We are seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer to lead the finance function for a rapidly scaling data centre platform. This is a senior, high-impact leadership role responsible for building financial strategy, strengthening governance, supporting investment and growth initiatives, and partnering closely with the CEO and Board to drive long-term value creation. <br> The ideal candidate will combine strong technical finance fundamentals with proven experience operating in capital-intensive, asset-backed, infrastructure-style environments. Prior exposure to data centres, digital infrastructure, power/energy/infrastructure, or similarly complex project-driven businesses is highly desirable. <br><br> <strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><ul><li><strong>Financial leadership & strategy:</strong> Own the overall finance strategy, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning aligned to platform growth and expansion priorities.</li><li><strong>Board & investor support:</strong> Act as a key partner to the CEO and Board, producing clear performance reporting, insights, and decision support; support investor communications and financing narratives as required.</li><li><strong>Capital planning & funding:</strong> Lead capital allocation, liquidity planning, and funding strategy across expansion, development, and operational cycles (including debt, equity, and alternative structures where relevant).</li><li><strong>Performance management:</strong> Establish disciplined KPI frameworks across development, operations, and corporate functions; drive accountability and margin/cash improvement.</li><li><strong>Financial governance & controls:</strong> Implement and maintain strong internal controls, compliance standards, and finance policies appropriate for a scaled, multi-entity platform.</li><li><strong>Risk management:</strong> Identify and manage financial, commercial, and operational risk, including contract, counterparty, FX, and project execution exposure.</li><li><strong>Team leadership:</strong> Build, develop, and lead a high-performing finance team, ensuring robust capabilities across FP&A, accounting, tax, treasury, and commercial finance.</li><li><strong>Commercial partnership:</strong> Provide finance leadership to support major contracts, pricing/terms, partner negotiations, and strategic initiatives.</li><li><strong>Systems & process:</strong> Drive continuous improvement across finance systems, reporting automation, and scalable processes suitable for a growing platform.</li></ul><strong>Experience & Profile</strong><ul><li>Significant senior finance leadership experience (CFO / Finance Director / VP Finance) within a high-growth and/or asset-heavy environment.</li><li>Strong understanding of capital-intensive infrastructure economics (capex, project finance concepts, long-term contracts, cash management, and governance).</li><li>Proven ability to operate at Board level, communicate clearly, and lead through complexity and change.</li><li>Track record of building finance functions that can scale (process, controls, people, and systems).</li><li>Experience in data centres, digital infrastructure, energy/infrastructure, industrials, real estate/critical facilities, or similarly structured sectors is preferred.</li><li>Professional accounting qualification (or equivalent) is advantageous.</li></ul><strong>What Success Looks Like</strong><ul><li>A clear, credible finance strategy that supports platform growth.</li><li>Strong forecasting discipline and reliable reporting for senior stakeholders.</li><li>Robust controls, governance, and commercial decision-making frameworks. xwzovoh </li><li>Improved cash visibility, capital planning, and investor readiness.</li></ul>
