Business Development Manager - Meetings & Events | Home-Based | £50,000 + Bonus + Benefits covering Reading, Watford and Milton Keynes areas<br><br>Be one of the first applicants, read the complete overview of the role below, then send your application for consideration.<br>An exciting opportunity has arisen for a driven Business Development Manager to join a leading hotel Management group, focused on growing meetings and events revenue across a diverse UK portfolio.<br>This is a home-based, field-focused role requiring regular travel (3+ days per week, including some overnight stays), ideal for a proactive sales professional with a strong background in M&E and corporate account development .<br><br>The Role<br><br>Drive new business and re-engage lapsed corporate clients across meetings & events<br>Develop a territory sales strategy targeting high-value accounts<br>Build a strong pipeline of corporate, association, and event clients<br>Represent the brand at industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities<br>Create and deliver client engagement events to showcase venues and services<br>Secure multi-site corporate partnerships across a UK hotel portfolio<br>Focus on growing large-scale events and conference business , including AV/production-led opportunities<br><br>About You<br><br>Proven experience in hotel sales or meetings & events business development<br>winning new business and managing client relationships<br>Experience working with corporate clients, agencies, and event buyers<br>Commercially driven with excellent negotiation and communication xwzovoh skills<br>Self-motivated and able to manage a territory-based role independently<br>Willing to travel regularly as part of the role<br><br>Package for the Business Development Manager<br><br>c£50,000 basic salary negotiable for the right person<br>£5,000 annual bonus (based on KPI achievement)<br>Mileage allowance<br>28 days holiday (including Bank Holidays)<br>Discounted hotel stays within major global hotel brands<br>Autonomy and flexibility within a field-based role
