<p><strong>Business Development Manager</strong></p><p><strong>Electronic Components / Technical Sales</strong></p><p><strong>Oxfordshire / Buckinghamshire / Bedfordshire / Northamptonshire</strong></p><p><strong>£45,000 – £55,000 basic + uncapped commission + company car</strong></p><p><br><br>If you are considering sending an application, make sure to hit the apply button below after reading through the entire description.<br></p><p>I’m working with a well-established European electronics manufacturer looking to hire a technically minded BDM to grow an established territory across the South Midlands.</p><p><br></p><p>This role would suit someone currently selling electronic components, connectors, sensors, power supplies, embedded solutions, automation products, or other technical/electronic products into OEMs and engineering customers.</p><p><br></p><p>The position is heavily relationship and project focused — engaging with design engineers, technical teams, procurement, and manufacturing stakeholders to support projects from design stage through to production.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What the role involves:</strong></p><p><br></p><p>• Managing and developing existing OEM and engineering accounts</p><p>• Identifying new business opportunities across manufacturing and industrial customers</p><p>• Selling consultatively into technical environments rather than transactional sales</p><p>• Supporting design-in/specification-led projects with long sales cycles</p><p>• Working closely with engineering and procurement teams to deliver tailored solutions</p><p>• Building long-term customer partnerships across the territory</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What they’re looking for:</strong></p><p><br></p><p>• Experience in technical B2B sales or engineering sales</p><p>• Background in electronic components, electromechanical products, automation, controls, sensors, connectors, or similar technical products</p><p>• Comfortable speaking with engineers and understanding technical applications</p><p>• Proven track record in business development and account growth</p><p>• Self-motivated and capable of managing a field-based territory</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Why this role stands out:</strong></p><p><br></p><p>• Established territory with existing customer relationships</p><p>• Strong technical product xwzovoh portfolio with genuine market demand</p><p>• Consultative sales environment with longer-term project work</p><p>• Supportive leadership team and realistic growth plans</p><p>• Good earning potential without aggressive micromanagement culture</p><p>• Opportunity to work with innovative engineering and manufacturing customers</p><p><br></p><p>If you’re currently in technical sales, electronics, automation, engineered products, or component distribution and would be open to a confidential conversation, feel free to get in touch or apply below.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>#TechnicalSales #Electronics #ElectronicComponents #BusinessDevelopment #EngineeringSales #OEM #Automation #ElectronicsJobs #SalesJobs #BDM</strong></p>
