Due to continued project progression, they are now seeking an experienced Building Logistics Lead to take ownership of construction logistics across a complex, fast-paced site environment.</p><p>This is a senior leadership role, offering the opportunity to play a key part in the successful delivery of a large, multi-disciplinary construction programme.</p><p>The Role</p><p>Reporting into the Building Logistics Area Lead, the Building Logistics Lead will provide strategic and operational leadership for all building logistics activities within their allocated area. You will lead multiple management teams, ensuring the safe, efficient and timely movement of materials, equipment and resources to support construction delivery against critical milestones.</p><p>This role requires a confident, visible leader who can coordinate geographically dispersed teams, manage senior stakeholders, and drive consistent standards across a demanding site operation.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li>Lead, develop and manage a team of Building Logistics Managers and Supervisors.</li><li>Plan, resource, recruit and deploy logistics teams in line with programme demands.</li><li>Interface closely with Construction Area and Building Leads to ensure aligned delivery.</li><li>Ensure a seamless building logistics service, including the movement of permanent and consumable materials and equipment.</li><li>Own and maintain key documentation including SOPs, RAMS and operational plans.</li><li>Oversee procurement planning and requisitions for logistics activities.</li><li>Act as the principal escalation point for HR, IR, performance and attendance matters.</li><li>Ensure full compliance with HSE standards and site safety requirements.</li><li>Lead incident investigations, reporting and safety stand-downs where required.</li><li>Drive continuous improvement and identify best-practice operational innovations.</li><li>Provide clear management reporting and maintain daily liaison with construction leadership teams.</li></ul><p>About You</p><p>Our client is looking for a proven logistics or operational leader with experience of managing complex, fast-moving construction environments.</p><p>Essential Experience & Skills</p><ul><li>Strong background in construction or project logistics at a senior or management level.</li><li>Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate large, multi-layered teams.</li><li>Excellent stakeholder management skills, operating effectively across multiple priorities.</li><li>Strong planning, reporting and documentation skills.</li><li>Confident communicator with solid IT and written capability.</li><li>Flexible and resilient, able to thrive in a changing and high-pressure environment.</li></ul><p>Qualifications (Essential)</p><ul><li>SMSTS or equivalent construction qualification.</li><li>CITB HSE Test (Manager & Professional level).</li><li>Valid passport.</li></ul><p>Desirable</p><ul><li>Experience within nuclear, power, or major M&E-led projects.</li><li>NEBOSH or equivalent H&S qualification.</li><li>Degree or Higher Education qualification. xwzovoh </li><li>Driving licence.</li></ul>
