My client, UK’s largest independently employee-owned BMS company, is seeking an experienced <strong>Commissioning Engineer</strong> to join their dynamic <strong>Data Centre Projects Division</strong>.<br><br>Have you got what it takes to succeed The following information should be read carefully by all candidates.<br><br>This is an onsite role focused on high-stakes data centre environments. The company prioritizes growth, collaboration, and wellbeing, offering a supportive atmosphere where you can further your career in the BEMS industry.<br><br><strong>Location Requirements<br></strong>Candidates must be located within a comfortable travelling distance of Slough, West Drayton, or Hayes.<br><br><strong>What You’ll Do<br></strong><ul><li>Commission, coordinate, and complete BMS installations within set timescales and budgetary constraints.</li><li>Conduct thorough functional testing and verification of BMS components and software.</li><li>Assist the project team in developing critical documentation and software, including DOPs, plant/point schedules, network designs, and controller software.</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues encountered during the commissioning process.</li><li>Provide project engineering and management for small to medium-sized projects, managing single or multiple jobs simultaneously.</li><li>Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, and clients to ensure successful project delivery.</li></ul><p><br><strong>The Ideal Candidate<br><br></strong>Technical Expertise: Primary technical knowledge of Schneider EcoStruxture or Trend BMS systems is required. Experience with Tridium or ALC is advantageous, though training is available.<br><br>Industry Experience: Proven experience in the building controls industry and a solid understanding of mechanical plant. Previous experience in data centre environments is highly favourable.<br><br>Core Skills: Extensive experience in BMS control strategy design, engineering, and commissioning.<br><br>Diagnostics: Proven ability to systematically identify and resolve technical problems.<br><br>Communication: Excellent communication skills, including the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.<br><br>Essential Qualifications: Full UK driving licence, PC literacy, and a valid CSCS skill card (or equivalent).<br><br><strong>What’s on Offer?<br><br></strong>Remuneration: A highly competitive salary plus a generous bonus scheme with the potential to earn up to 25% of your basic salary.<br>Ownership & Pension: Opportunity to become part of the Employee Ownership scheme after 12 months, alongside a 6% contributory pension.<br>Vehicle Options: A wide-ranging company car scheme (including electric vehicles) or a monthly car allowance for personal vehicle use.<br>Health & Wellbeing: Free private medical insurance (BUPA), life assurance (4x annual salary), and a CycleScheme up to £2,500.<br>Leave: 25 days of annual leave plus public holidays, with an option to purchase up to 3 additional days per year. xwzovoh <br>Extra Earnings: Regular overtime opportunities are available.<br> </p>
