You will take ownership of the dashboarding and reporting function, working closely with stakeholders across the business to translate requirements into clear, reliable, and well-structured BI outputs.</p><p>Experience with Qlik Cloud is central to this role, alongside a development background that allows you to engage meaningfully with data integration, automation, and process improvement work. If you understand energy or utilities data, even better - though it is not essential.</p><p>The role is based in Liverpool, and is hybrid but it is very flexible and we could be open to remote for the right person with significant Qlik Cloud experience.</p><p>Key Responsibilities</p><p>BI Development & Reporting</p><ul><li>Design, build, and maintain dashboards and reports in Qlik Cloud</li><li>Translate business requirements into clear, accurate, and usable BI outputs</li><li>Develop and support KPI reporting for operational and commercial teams</li><li>Ensure reporting is consistent, well-structured, and aligned to business needs</li></ul><p>Data Analysis & Insight</p><ul><li>Analyse business data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement</li><li>Support decision-making by providing accurate and timely insights to the right people</li><li>Work with a range of internal and external data sources</li><li>Improve data quality, consistency, and usability across systems</li></ul><p>Development & Data Integration</p><ul><li>Apply development experience to support data handling, automation, and integration work</li><li>Assist with the design and maintenance of data flows and transformations</li><li>Work with structured data formats including CSV, JSON, and API-based feeds</li><li>Drive improvements to internal processes through technical problem-solving</li></ul><p>Stakeholder Engagement</p><ul><li>Work closely with colleagues across the business to gather requirements and refine outputs</li><li>Provide clear guidance and support to users of BI tools and reports</li><li>Respond to reporting queries and help maintain confidence and trust in the data</li><li>Present findings in a practical, accessible way to non-technical audiences</li></ul><p>What We're Looking For</p><p>Essential</p><ul><li>Proven experience in a BI Developer, BI Analyst, Data Analyst, or similar role</li><li>Strong hands-on experience with Qlik Cloud</li><li>A development background - whether in data, reporting, scripting, or systems work</li><li>Solid understanding of data modelling, reporting logic, and analytical thinking</li></ul><p>Who You Are</p><p>You are analytical and solution-focused, with a proactive approach and the confidence to work independently.
