My client, one of the UK’s largest independently employee-owned BMS companies, is seeking a seasoned <strong>BEMS Support Engineer</strong> to join their vibrant <strong>Data Centres Support Division</strong>.<br><br>If you are considering sending an application, make sure to hit the apply button below after reading through the entire description.<br>This is an onsite role where passion for innovation and technical excellence thrives within a culture centered on growth, collaboration, and wellbeing.<br><br><strong>Location Requirements<br></strong>Candidates must be located within a comfortable travelling distance of Slough, West Drayton, or Hayes.<br><br><strong>What You’ll Do<br></strong><ul><li>Undertake preventative maintenance and diagnostics on building control systems in accordance with established service level agreements.</li><li>Produce concise reports from PPM visits, submitted promptly in line with customer KPIs.</li><li>Maintain accurate schedules and trackers of maintenance works for full visibility to both the company and the customer.</li><li>Carry out small repairs, remedial works, and routine inspections to ensure optimal performance and reliability.</li><li>Respond to customer service calls in the event of system failures.</li><li>Document all service activities, including maintenance tasks, repairs, and client interactions.</li></ul><p><br><strong>The Ideal Candidate<br><br></strong>System Knowledge: Familiarity with Schneider EcoStruxure is expected. Advantageous experience includes Tridium, Trend, IQVision, or ALC, though training will be provided for other systems.<br><br>Industry Experience: Proven experience within the building controls industry and a solid understanding of mechanical plant. Experience within data centre environments is highly favourable.<br><br>Technical Skills: Strong diagnostic skills with the ability to systematically identify and resolve technical problems.<br><br>Communication: Excellent communication skills, particularly the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical clients.<br><br>Availability: Ability to work independently and collaboratively, including participation in an emergency/breakdown on-call rota.<br><br>Essential Qualifications: Full UK driving licence, PC literacy, and a valid CSCS skill card (or equivalent).<br><br><strong>What’s on Offer?<br></strong>Earnings: A highly competitive salary with an OTE of up to £61k, plus a generous bonus scheme and standby allowance.<br>Ownership & Pension: Opportunity to become part of the Employee Ownership scheme after 12 months, supported by a 6% contributory pension.<br>Vehicle Options: Access to a wide-ranging company car scheme (including electric vehicles) or a monthly car allowance for your own vehicle.<br>Health & Wellbeing: Free private medical insurance (BUPA), life assurance (4x annual salary), and a CycleScheme up to £2,500.<br>Leave: 25 days of annual leave plus public holidays, with the option to buy 3 additional days per year. xwzovoh <br>Extra Income: Regular overtime opportunities are available.<br> </p>
