JOB-20240909-f9129149<br><br>The full job description covers all associated skills, previous experience, and any qualifications that applicants are expected to have.<br>Clinical Lead Band 7 Substance Misuse Nurse (NMP)<br>Location: Isle of Wight<br>Salary: £47,810 £54,710 per annum + £3,777 recruitment & retention bonus<br>Contract: Permanent<br>Hours: Full-Time (37.5 hours per week)<br>Sanctuary Personnel is currently recruiting for an experienced Substance Misuse Nurse (Non-Medical Prescriber) to take on a permanent Band 7 Clinical Lead role within a specialist drug and alcohol service on the Isle of Wight. This is an excellent opportunity for a senior nurse or clinical lead looking to progress their career in substance misuse services, community nursing, and leadership roles.<br>This Clinical Lead position is ideal for a motivated and experienced NMP Nurse who is passionate about delivering high-quality, evidence-based care and leading service development within community drug and alcohol services.<br>Job Overview:<br>As a Clinical Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing clinical delivery within substance misuse services, including prescribing, detox pathways, and care for individuals with co-occurring conditions. You will play a key role in leading a team, improving clinical pathways, and driving continuous professional development.<br>You will be instrumental in tackling health inequalities, embedding trauma-informed practice, and ensuring safeguarding and compassionate care remain at the forefront of service delivery.<br>Main Duties:<br>Lead all clinical and prescribing activities across substance misuse services<br>Provide a visible, accessible, and authoritative clinical presence for staff and patients<br>Deliver clinical supervision and support to nursing staff in specialist roles<br>Develop and expand Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) capacity within the service<br>Drive continuous quality improvement and risk management processes<br>Act as a key liaison between service locations and external stakeholders<br>Oversee the delivery of detox programmes and community-based interventions<br>Produce reports in line with NDTMS requirements and service level agreements<br>Support the development of clinical pathways, including for co-occurring conditions<br>Requirements:<br>Registered Nurse with current NMC registration<br>Non-Medical Prescriber (NMP) qualification (essential)<br>Significant experience within substance misuse or drug and alcohol services<br>Experience working in community clinical settings<br>Proven leadership experience managing or supervising nursing teams<br>Experience developing clinical pathways and improving service delivery<br>Strong understanding of safeguarding, trauma-informed practice, and complex needs<br>Relocation & Benefits:<br>£3,777 recruitment and retention incentive (initial 12 months)<br>Relocation package available up to £8,000<br>Potential support with commuting/travel costs from the mainland<br>Competitive NHS Band 7 salary under Agenda for Change<br>Opportunity to work in a supportive and progressive clinical environment<br>Why Work with Sanctuary Personnel?<br>Sanctuary Personnel is an award-winning recruitment agency with an excellent reputation across healthcare recruitment. xwzovoh We are committed to matching experienced professionals with high-quality roles that support career progression and professional development.
