<p><strong>Senior Backend Engineer – Mobile - Fully Remote Anywhere in UK & Europe! £115,000</strong></p><p><br><br>Want to apply Read all the information about this position below, then hit the apply button.<br></p><p>I’m working with a high-growth, consumer-facing mobile platform used by millions globally, who are building out a brand new monetisation engineering function.</p><p><br></p><p>They’ve recently evolved into a more mature, product-led engineering organisation with dedicated squads aligned to Product, and are now hiring a backend engineer to sit at the centre of how they generate revenue.</p><p><br></p><p>This is a high-impact role focused on building and scaling the systems behind subscriptions, payments and pricing - owning the reliability and performance of the monetisation funnel end-to-end.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>What you’ll be doing:</strong></p><ul><li>Designing and building scalable backend systems that power subscriptions, billing and pricing logic</li><li>Owning the performance, reliability and correctness of revenue-critical systems</li><li>Working closely with Product and Data to support experimentation, analytics and growth initiatives</li><li>Helping shape how monetisation is built as the business continues to scale</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Tech stack:</strong></p><ul><li>Node.js, TypeScript</li><li>AWS</li><li>DynamoDB</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What they’re looking for:</strong></p><ul><li>Strong backend engineering experience in high-scale, consumer-facing products</li><li>Experience working on business-critical systems (payments, subscriptions, or similar high-throughput environments)</li><li>Ability to work closely with Product Managers, challenge where needed and prioritise effectively</li><li>Strong communication skills and a product mindset</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Nice to have:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with in-app purchases or subscription platforms</li><li>Background in mobile-first products</li><li>Exposure to analytics, experimentation or feature flagging systems</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>The setup:</strong></p><ul><li>Fully remote, distributed team</li><li>Mature squad structure with strong engineering leadership</li><li>Opportunity to take ownership in a newly formed team with clear progression into leadership</li></ul><p><br></p><p>If you’re interested, drop me a message or apply and I’ll run you through the details. xwzovoh </p><br>Remote working/work at home options are available for this role.
