Would you like to build your experience working with Complex Learning Disabilities?</p><p>A fantastic specialist school in Trowbridge are looking for a caring, personable individual to join their team as an Autism Support Assistant. This is a full-time position, 5 days a week. The school caters for children with a primary diagnosis of Autism. Many students also have additional diagnoses, such as ADHD and learning disabilities, and benefit from a nurturing, empathetic and engaging support system.</p><p>As an Autism Support Assistant, you will provide one-to-one and small group support, helping students access learning and manage their emotional and behavioural responses in a safe, structured environment. Many of the children struggle with interpersonal skills, communication and emotional resilience, and your role will be key in helping build their confidence, regulation, and resilience.</p><p>This specialist school employs a therapeutic approach to support the needs of their pupils. This means the children engage in many activities outside of traditional lessons.
