A leading independent, Cardiff based Accountancy practice are seeking an Audit and Accounts Assistant Manager/ Manager .<br><br>Please read the following job description thoroughly to ensure you are the right fit for this role before applying.<br><br>This is a great opportunity for a qualified audit and accounts professional (ACCA/ACA) seeking to work in a flexible professional environment.<br><br>Good working location, flexi (core hour) working pattern, free on site parking, discretionary annual bonuses, Death In service and Private Medical insurance.<br><br>You need to possess a full UK drivers license and have access to your own vehicle.<br><br>On a daily basis the Accounts and Audit Assistant Manager/ Manager will be undertaking audit fieldwork, statutory reporting and completion, along with general accounting compliance work.<br><br>Preparing financial statements, ensuring they are compliant with relevant accounting standards, whilst on occasion training others.<br><br>This is a great opportunity to undertake a mixed Audit and Accounts role in a friendly and flexible environment.<br><br>Development opportunities are available working for this leading, independent practice.<br><br>Audit and Accounts Assistant Manager/ Manager duties and responsibilities; Delivery of high quality audit and non-audit services, coordinating team members in delivery of same.<br><br>Working knowledge of UK GAAP (including FRS 102) and International Auditing.<br><br>Achieving department and individual performance objectives.<br><br>Managing administration of client, including budgets, WIP and timely billing.<br><br>Maintaining the highest technical and professional standards.<br><br>Thinking strategically about client needs by understanding their business and key risks.<br><br>Providing additional help and guidance to clients on a consultancy basis.<br><br>Delivering results and managing client expectations.<br><br>A role model for department professionals.<br><br>Training junior member(s) of the team and give direction and support when required.<br><br>Career progression through continuousprofessional development.<br><br>What does our client have to offer?
