Looking for a high-impact contract role where your solutions will influence how thousands of world-class engineers and business groups collaborate?</p><p><br></p><p>A global, industry-defining technology company is seeking an <strong>Atlassian Specialist</strong> for an exciting 10-month contract. We are currently executing a major migration of our Jira and Confluence Data Center applications to the Cloud, while simultaneously rolling out a brand-new, Atlassian-based project management capability across the entire organization.</p><p>If you are a proactive problem solver who excels at turning complex business requirements into seamless technical solutions, we want to hear from you!</p><p><br></p><p> Key Responsibilities</p><ul><li><strong>Solution Architecture:</strong> Translate cross-functional requirements into robust configurations, coordinating testing and ensuring high user satisfaction.</li><li><strong>Tooling Optimization:</strong> Develop and maintain internal tools and workflows that actively enable efficient engineering and product delivery.</li><li><strong>Environment Integrity:</strong> Own and manage process controls to safeguard the performance, security, and integrity of our Atlassian environments.</li><li><strong>Tiered Support Guidance:</strong> Act as an escalation point for our support team, guiding them through complex requests and making strategic decisions to facilitate optimal outcomes.</li></ul><p><br></p><p> Required Skills & Experience</p><ul><li><strong>Atlassian Administration:</strong> Proven expertise in configuring and administering <strong>Jira Cloud</strong> and <strong>Confluence Cloud</strong> applications.</li><li><strong>Technical Toolkit:</strong> Strong, hands-on knowledge of <strong>Groovy</strong>, <strong>Scriptrunner</strong>, and <strong>Jira Automation</strong>.</li><li><strong>Autonomy & Delivery:</strong> Ability to define and deliver work packages independently, applying modern software development and business analysis techniques.</li><li><strong>Exceptional Communication:</strong> A track record of building trust across large, complex organizations, acting as the "go-to" partner for both technical and non-technical teams.</li><li><strong>Analytical Mindset:</strong> A proactive approach to identifying opportunities, designing solutions, documenting processes, and gaining stakeholder sign-off with meticulous attention to detail.</li></ul><p> "Nice To Have" Skills & Experience</p><ul><li>Hands-on experience executing migrations from <strong>Atlassian Data Center to Atlassian Cloud</strong>.</li><li>Competence with <strong>Java</strong> and/or <strong>Python</strong>.</li><li>Familiarity with popular Atlassian Marketplace apps (e.g., Structure, , JXL, Mosaic, Exalate).</li></ul><p><br></p><p> What’s In It For You?</p><p>You will collaborate with a diverse, brilliant global team and directly shape the internal toolset used to develop next-generation technology products.
