Join Our Hospitality Team DoubleTree by Hilton Stoke-on-Trent is looking for a passionate and motivated Assistant Bar & Restaurant Manager to help lead our food and beverage operations. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to delivering outstanding guest experiences.
Working closely with the Bar & Restaurant Manager, you will support the day-to-day running of the restaurant, bar, and lounge areas while leading and inspiring the team to maintain exceptional service standards.
Key Responsibilities Support the management and daily operation of the restaurant and bar departments
Lead shifts and supervise team members to ensure smooth service delivery
Deliver exceptional guest experiences in line with Hilton brand standards
Assist with staff training, coaching, and development
Ensure high standards of cleanliness, presentation, and health & safety compliance
Support stock control, ordering, and inventory management
Handle guest feedback professionally and resolve issues efficiently
Assist with rota planning and labour management
Work collaboratively with kitchen and hotel departments to ensure seamless operations
Drive sales opportunities and promote food and beverage offerings
About You We are looking for someone who:
Has previous supervisory xwzovoh or management experience within a bar, restaurant, or hotel environment
Demonstrates strong leadership and communication skills
Is passionate about hospitality and guest service
Can remain calm and organised under pressure
Has excellent attention to detail and a hands-on approach
Is flexible to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
Holds knowledge of food hygiene and licensing regulations
Previous Hilton experience is desirable but not essential
