<p>Job Description</p><br>Learn more about the general tasks related to this opportunity below, as well as required skills.<br><p>SEN Teaching Assistant (ASD Specialism) - KS2</p><p>Rochester</p><p>Full time contract</p><p>Start ASAP</p><p>Due to location must have own transport</p><p>We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant with an ASD specialism to support a KS2 pupil at a welcoming school located near Hoo, Rochester, Kent.</p><p>This is a rewarding role for someone who is passionate about supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and helping them thrive both academically and emotionally.</p><p>Key Responsibilities:</p><ul><li>Provide 1:1 support for a KS2 pupil with ASD</li><li>Support learning, communication, and emotional regulation</li><li>Implement strategies in line with EHCP targets</li><li>Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO</li><li>Create a safe, nurturing, and structured learning environment</li></ul><p>Essential Requirements:</p><ul><li>Experience supporting children with ASD (school-based preferred)</li><li>Understanding of KS2 curriculum and SEN strategies</li><li>Patient, reliable, and adaptable xwzovoh approach</li><li>Must have own transport due to the school's location and limited public transport access</li></ul><p>Desirable:</p><ul><li>SEN or TA qualification</li><li>Experience with visual supports, routines, or behaviour strategies</li></ul><p>This role would suit someone committed to making a real difference in a child's early education.</p>
