<p><strong>Algorithms Engineer</strong></p><p><br><br>Interested in learning more about this job Scroll down and find out what skills, experience and educational qualifications are needed.<br></p><p>Copello are working with a leading engineering organisation to recruit an <strong>Algorithms Engineer</strong> to support the development of advanced technologies within Radio Frequency (RF) sensing systems.</p><p>This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge projects, working on innovative solutions in a highly specialised and evolving field.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Salary:</strong> Circa £45,000 – £58,000 (dependent on experience)</p><p><strong>Working Pattern:</strong> Hybrid – typically 4 days per week on-site due to project requirements</p><p><strong>Security Clearance:</strong> Applicants must be British Citizens or Dual UK nationals with British citizenship. Security checks (BPSS) will be required following offer stage.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>The Opportunity</strong></p><p>Our client is growing their RF Seeker capability and is looking to engage talented engineers across multiple experience levels. In this role, you’ll be involved in algorithm development and system-level studies, supporting the advancement of complex sensing technologies.</p><p>You’ll have the chance to contribute to high-profile programmes and work on sophisticated systems including Active Electronically Scanned Arrays (AESA) and multi-mode sensor technologies.</p><p>This role offers excellent scope for technical development and innovation. You’ll work within a collaborative, multidisciplinary team and play an active role in shaping system performance and capability, with strong support for your ongoing professional growth.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Develop and refine algorithms, ensuring they meet system requirements</li><li>Carry out technical studies to identify improvements and future enhancements</li><li>Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams</li><li>Integrate algorithms into complex system models</li><li>Perform system analysis and performance assessments</li><li>Contribute to innovation initiatives, including the use of agile methodologies and emerging technologies such as machine learning and AI</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What We’re Looking For</strong></p><p><strong>Essential:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience in algorithm development</li><li>Proficiency in MATLAB</li><li>Ability to plan and conduct investigations to support system design</li><li>Strong data analysis skills</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Desirable:</strong></p><ul><li>Experience with modelling and coding (e.g. Simulink)</li><li>Knowledge of RF systems xwzovoh and digital signal processing</li><li>Experience in hypothesis development and validation methods</li><li>Technical report writing skills</li><li>Exposure to Machine Learning and AI</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>What’s on Offer</strong></p><ul><li>Performance-related bonus (typically up to £2,500)</li><li>Competitive pension scheme (up to 14% combined contribution)</li><li>Paid overtime opportunities</li><li>Flexible leave options, including additional annual leave</li><li>Flexible working arrangements</li><li>Enhanced parental leave provisions</li><li>Excellent on-site facilities, including subsidised meals and free parking</li></ul><p><br></p><p>If you’re interested in working at the forefront of RF technology and want to be part of an organisation that values innovation and professional development, we’d be keen to hear from you.</p>
