<p><strong>ADHD Specialist Independent Prescriber (Nurse or Pharmacist)</strong></p><p><strong>Right to Choose (RTC) – Fully Remote ADHD Assessments</strong></p><p><strong>Rate:</strong> £140 per assessment </p><p><strong>Contract:</strong> Self-employed - Outside IR35</p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Fully remote (UK-based)</p><p><br><br>Is this your next job Read the full description below to find out, and do not hesitate to make an application.<br></p><p><strong>About the Service</strong></p><p>We are recruiting on behalf of a <strong>new Right to Choose (RTC) ADHD provider</strong>, delivering fully remote, patient-centred ADHD assessment and treatment services across England. Our model is designed to improve access to timely, evidence-based care while maintaining high clinical and governance standards.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Role Overview</strong></p><p>We are seeking experienced <strong>Nurse or Pharmacist Independent Prescribers</strong> to join our Adult ADHD service. This role focuses exclusively on <strong>ADHD assessment support and medication initiation following diagnosis</strong>.</p><p>Working autonomously within a well-governed RTC framework, you will collaborate closely with the wider multidisciplinary team (MDT) to ensure safe, effective, and consistent patient care.</p><p><br></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Assess patients and initiate ADHD medication following diagnosis</li><li>Develop clear, individualised treatment plans in line with NICE guidance</li><li>Complete medication initiation and safety reviews</li><li>Communicate with patients via secure video, telephone, and messaging platforms</li><li>Maintain accurate, timely, and comprehensive electronic clinical records</li><li>Participate in MDT working, safeguarding, and clinical governance processes</li><li>Adhere to prescribing standards, policies, and professional guidelines</li></ul><p><br></p><p><strong>Essential Criteria</strong></p><p><strong>Qualifications & Registration</strong></p><ul><li>Registered <strong>Nurse or Pharmacist</strong></li><li><strong>Independent Prescribing qualification (V300)</strong></li><li>Current <strong>NMC or GPhC</strong> registration</li><li>Minimum <strong>1 year’s experience</strong> undertaking Adult ADHD assessments</li><li>At least <strong>6 months’ experience</strong> working within a specialist ADHD service (NHS or private)</li></ul><p><strong>Skills & Experience</strong></p><ul><li>Strong autonomous clinical decision-making skills</li><li>Confidence working in a <strong>fully remote digital environment</strong></li><li>Excellent communication skills with a patient-centred xwzovoh approach</li><li>Experience working within a multidisciplinary team</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Up-to-date <strong>Enhanced DBS</strong></li><li>Access to a <strong>Smart Card and reader</strong> (valid for at least 12 months)</li><li>Access to a personal laptop (non-NHS / non-GP owned)</li></ul><p><br></p><p>Desirable</p><ul><li>ADHD-specific training (e.g. UKAAN, ADHD360, NHS-approved programmes)</li><li>Experience using <strong>SystmOne, Microsoft Teams, and AccuRx</strong></li></ul><p><br></p><p>What We Offer</p><ul><li>Fully remote and flexible working</li><li>Clear role scope with <strong>no titration responsibilities</strong></li><li>Competitive per-assessment rate</li><li>Structured clinical governance and MDT support</li><li>Opportunity to be part of a new and growing RTC service</li></ul>
