<p><strong>SEN Tutor - Croydon Qualified Tutor Immediate Start</strong></p><p>We are currently recruiting for a dedicated and experienced SEN Tutor to support young learners in the Croydon area. This is a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful impact on the academic and emotional development of students with Special Educational Needs.</p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Croydon<strong>Start date:</strong> Immediate<strong>Hours:</strong> Flexible - part-time or full-time opportunities available<strong>Pay:</strong> £25-£35 per hour, based on experience and qualifications</p><p><strong>About the Role:</strong>The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering tailored 1:1 tuition to students who may be out of school, on reduced timetables, or require additional support due to a range of SEN, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other complex needs. Sessions may take place in the student's home or a suitable community setting.</p><p><strong>Responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Plan and deliver engaging lessons in core subjects </p></li><li><p>Adapt teaching strategies to meet the individual needs of each learner</p></li><li><p>Build positive, trusting relationships with students and their families</p></li><li><p>Support student's emotional development, confidence and readiness to learn</p></li><li><p>Monitor and report on student progress</p></li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li><p>A recognised teaching qualification (QTS, QTLS, PGCE or equivalent)</p></li><li><p>Proven experience working with children or young people with SEN</p></li><li><p>Ability to work independently and manage own schedule</p></li><li><p>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills</p></li><li><p>Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)</p></li></ul><p><strong>Desirable:</strong></p><ul><li><p>Experience supporting students excluded from mainstream education</p></li><li><p>Training in behaviour management strategies (e.g. Team Teach, MAPA)</p></li><li><p>Strong understanding of EHCPs and SEN-related support frameworks</p></li></ul><p><strong>If this is something you're interested in please 'APPLY NOW' and you will be shortlisted and contacted within 72 hours if successful , Good luck </strong></p><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?Ae5qx6keinwaavqbX6r7V%2fFSKgDGKflUs" width="0" height="0" />
