<p><strong>About You</strong></p><p>You may be a recent graduate, creative practitioner or aspiring teacher with a passion for Art, Design and education. We are looking for someone who:</p><ul><li>Is a motivated aspiring Art & Design Technology teacher / graduate trainee</li><li>Has a degree or strong background in Art, Design, DT or a related creative subject</li><li>Is confident teaching <strong>Art up to KS5</strong> and <strong>DT up to KS3</strong>, or keen to develop this</li><li>Is enthusiastic, reflective and eager to grow as a classroom practitioner</li><li>Is committed to high standards, teamwork and whole-school values</li><li>Can build positive relationships and inspire creativity and ambition in young people</li><li>Is keen to develop their teaching practice through high-quality mentoring and training</li></ul><strong>Training & Progression with Grad2Teach</strong><p>This role follows Grad2Teach's <strong>fully salaried, two-phase teacher training model</strong>:</p><strong>Phase One - Level 4 & Foundational Training</strong><ul><li>Complete a <strong>Level 4 NCFE customised qualification</strong> while working in school</li><li>Training aligned to the <strong>Core Content Framework (CCF)</strong> and <strong>Teachers' Standards</strong></li><li>Learn through guided practice, lesson observations, professional learning sessions and in-school experience</li></ul><strong>Phase Two - PGCE & QTS (Coventry University)</strong><p>Subject to successful progression, Phase Two includes:</p><ul><li>Increased independent teaching responsibility (up to 18 hours per week)</li><li>Completion of a <strong>PGCE with QTS</strong> through <strong>Coventry University (NITE)</strong></li><li>Ongoing mentoring, assessment and development to meet all Teachers' Standards</li></ul><p>This structured pathway ensures you develop the confidence, expertise and accreditation needed to begin your career as a fully qualified <strong>Art and Design Technology teacher</strong>.</p><strong>Location & Application</strong><p>This salaried trainee role is based in:</p><p><strong>Burnham-on-Crouch, Essex</strong></p><p>The location offers a welcoming community setting with good transport links across Essex and surrounding areas.</p><p>If you're ready to begin a rewarding career in teaching - while earning a salary and receiving outstanding training - we would love to hear from you.</p><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?KmGIYyL1tv4w8DdFhbcnN3fn75xrg27ou" width="0" height="0" />
