Tour Guide - Portrush Coastal Zone

<p><strong>We are currently recruiting a tour guide for our client based Portrush. The successful candidates will be required to start once the vetting paperwork and ANI completed.</strong></p> <p><strong>Start date: ASAP</strong></p> <p><strong>Rate of pay: £13.75PH</strong></p> <p><strong>Hours of work: 37 9 to 5, 5 days over 7</strong></p> <p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong></p> <p> To man the Exhibition Centre at Portrush Coastal Zone<br /> Open and close the building daily.<br /> Work 5 days over 7 9am-5pm.<br /> Feeding of live creatures and carry out water change as instructed.<br /> Comply and sign PCZ Risk Assessment.<br /> Relay information to visitors on sea life in tanks and assist with any groups visiting the centre.<br /> produce weekly time sheets to Manager by Friday of each week.<br /> Always ensure security of building. <br /> any further instructions from Manager.</p> <p><strong>Essential Criteria applicants must have:</strong></p> <ul> <li><strong>5 GCSE's including Maths and English (Proof of certs required)</strong></li> </ul> <ul> <li>Good interpersonal skills</li> </ul> <p><strong>Desirable but not essential:</strong></p> <ul> <li>An interest and experience in Marine life and Conservation would be desirable.<br /> Trained in First Aid would be desirable</li> </ul> <p> </p> <p><strong><em>A criminal record will not necessarily be a bar to obtaining a position.</em></strong></p> <p><strong> </strong></p> <p><strong><em>The UK Recruitment Co.
