Technology Operations Lead - (Events)

<p>A major UK organisation with a large events and customer facing operation is looking for a Technology Operations Lead to support the delivery of technology services across conferences, exhibitions and live environments.</p><p>This role sits between internal Technology teams, commercial teams and external service providers. You'll ensure that what's agreed with customers, what's technically feasible, and what's delivered operationally are fully aligned.</p><p></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Review customer technology requirements</li><li>Validate feasibility with internal teams and external providers</li><li>Identify risks early and escalate where needed</li><li>Ensure services sold align with technical standards</li><li>Act as the on-site technology point of contact</li><li>Troubleshoot and resolve connectivity issues (Wi-Fi, wired, endpoint, VPN, DHCP/DNS)</li><li>Coordinate incident response with technical teams</li><li>Maintain awareness of service performance</li><li>Communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders</li><li>Balance customer expectations with operational constraints</li><li>Lead service debriefs</li><li>Review performance and incidents</li><li>Contribute to service improvements</li></ul><p></p><p>What You'll Bring</p><ul><li>Experience supporting technology for live events (venue, exhibition, conference, hospitality or similar)</li><li>Strong understanding of enterprise IT and networking fundamentals (Wi-Fi, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, VPNs, endpoints, service delivery)</li><li>Experience coordinating incident response in high-pressure environments</li><li>Ability to manage multiple stakeholders</li><li>Clear communication with technical and non-technical audiences</li><li>A calm, structured approach during live issues</li></ul><p></p><p>If you're excited by the challenge of coordinating technology for live, business-critical environments and want a role where no two days are the same, we'd love to hear from you.</p><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?Y%2fr8BHIvVXtsMGa0qe0jTiwJ58cLNuUuc" width="0" height="0" />
