You'll coordinate cross-functional engineering activities to ensure systems verification and compliance. This position suits organised, multi-disciplined engineers who thrive on variety and technical challenge.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Qualification planning - interpret and manage technical requirements to create and execute qualification programmes.</li><li>System verification - take ownership of verification matrices and ensure completion of all related activities.</li><li>Test execution - develop, perform, and report on test plans, occasionally participating as a test subject when safe.</li><li>Evidence validation - assess similarities between products to determine if existing test data can qualify new designs.</li><li>Analytical support - use analytical and computational tools to support product qualification.</li><li>Continuous improvement - identify inefficiencies and contribute to better engineering systems and practices.</li><li>Foster an inclusive, respectful, and safety-first culture.</li><li>Engage in professional development through training, mentoring, and self-led learning.</li></ul><p><strong>Required Skills & Competencies</strong></p><ul><li>Solid foundation in mechanical engineering principles with independent validation and peer review capability.</li><li>Proven experience in planning and reporting qualification activities.</li><li>Hands-on leadership in product testing, including customer or authority-witnessed tests.</li><li>Strong organisational and time-management skills.</li><li>Analytical thinker able to interpret complex data and solve problems effectively.</li><li>Excellent communicator, adaptable to diverse audiences.</li><li>Collaborative team player with a continuous improvement mindset.</li><li>Experience leading DFMEA and documenting outcomes.</li><li>Familiarity with efficient engineering processes and best practices.</li><li>(Desirable) Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks.</li></ul><p><strong>Experience & Qualifications</strong></p><ul><li>Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering (or related discipline).</li><li>2-5 years of relevant engineering experience.</li></ul><p><strong>Values & Behaviours</strong></p><ul><li>Safety leadership - promotes safety standards and shares lessons learned.</li><li>Customer focus - represents customer needs with integrity and reliability.</li><li>People development - supports colleagues through mentoring and collaboration.</li><li>Excellence pursuit - delivers high-quality outcomes under pressure.</li><li>Innovation mindset - embraces change and communicates its purpose clearly.</li><li>Integrity - maintains ethical standards and builds trust with all stakeholders.</li></ul><p>Salary & BenefitsWe offer a flexible and hybrid working environment, empowering you to balance on-site collaboration with remote productivity.
