Shunter Driver - 22:00 to 06:00 - HGV Class 1 (C+E)

AB Texel UK are a large, well-established agricultural bulk transport company who are currently recruiting for a reliable HGV Class 1 driver to shunt at our customers premises in Whittlesey.<br /><br /> Shift Pattern - <br /><br />We currently have the following shift pattern available:<br /><br /> 4 on 4 off Shift (22:00 - 06:00) <br /><br /> What are you going to do? <br /><br />This is a physically demanding, yard based role, suited to someone who enjoys being active, working outdoors, and getting stuck in as part of a hard working team.<br /><br /> Use a tug to shunt trailers on site as per our customers' requirements.<br /> Maintain a professional and courteous attitude when dealing with customers and members of the public<br /> Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects in line with company procedures and DVSA requirements<br /> Follow all health & safety, site, and company procedures<br /> Providing customer service as part of this role.<br /><br />_Physical work required:_<br /><br /> Ability to couple and uncouple units and trailers.<br /> Ability to load and unload.<br /> Ability to climb up onto the back and into trailers.<br /> Ability to roll bulker sheet from one side to other, where required.<br /><br /> Who are you? <br /><br />Our ideal driver:<br /><br /> Feels at home in the agricultural sector.<br /> Is in possession of an HGV Class 1 license<br /> A clean license is preferred<br /> Experience desired, however, full training will be provided.<br /><br /> What do we offer you? <br /><br />You are in the right place at AB Texel UK.
