From securing government technology to supporting systems used across the world, this is IT support at a scale and importance you won't find anywhere else.</p> <p>This is your chance to join a <strong>cutting edge Digital & Data team</strong> supporting mission critical services for UK government.</p> <p><strong>What you'll be doing</strong></p> <p>You'll be at the heart of the Service Desk, keeping services running smoothly, securely and on track.</p> <p>Your role will include:</p> <ul> <li>Owning and managing Service Desk queues and phone lines</li> <li>Logging, prioritising and resolving incidents and service requests</li> <li>Investigating technical issues and restoring service quickly</li> <li>Working with incident, problem and service transition teams</li> <li>Supporting major incidents and ensuring clear handovers between shifts</li> <li>Documenting fixes, workarounds and knowledge articles to improve future support</li> </ul> <p>You'll work with modern tools and technologies while supporting systems that really matter.</p> <p><strong>What we're looking for</strong></p> <p>This role would suit someone with experience in:</p> <ul> <li>IT Service Desk, Incident or Request Fulfilment environments</li> <li>Microsoft OS, Microsoft 365 (including Entra ID), and Office applications</li> <li>Remote support tools such as MS Teams, MSTSC or MSRA</li> <li>Strong customer service and communication skills</li> </ul> <p>Qualifications such as <strong>NVQ Level 3 / Advanced Apprenticeship in IT</strong> are essential.<br> ITIL, ServiceNow and Agile knowledge are a plus, but not essential.</p> <p><strong>How to apply</strong></p> <p>This role is advertised on <strong>Civil Service Jobs</strong> with full details and criteria.</p> <p><strong>Click through to the Civil Service Jobs advert to apply.</strong></p><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?DLlfkpzUkdD83k3AhEqMMQiz%2b4KO5ggVh" width="0" height="0" />
