Senior Estimator

<p>An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Estimator to join a well-established business at a pivotal stage of growth, supporting the launch of a new main contracting division.</p><p>The new division will focus on commercial and retail developments, with a strong pipeline of steel-frame warehouse projects valued between £1m and £10m. This is a rare chance to play a key role in shaping a business unit from the ground up.</p><p>The Role</p><p>As Estimator, you will take ownership of the tendering process while also contributing strategically to the success of this fledgling division. Responsibilities will include:</p><p></p><p>Preparing accurate and competitive estimates for incoming tenders</p><p>Pricing commercial and retail schemes, including steel-frame warehouse developments</p><p>Using industry contacts and market knowledge to help generate tender opportunities</p><p>Supporting the business in securing positions on frameworks and preferred supplier lists</p><p>Working closely with senior management to shape estimating processes and commercial strategy</p><p></p><p>The Ideal Candidate</p><p>Our client is seeking an Estimator who combines technical capability with commercial awareness:</p><p></p><p>Proven experience as an Estimator within main contracting</p><p>Background in commercial, retail and industrial/warehouse projects</p><p>Strong industry contacts and market presence</p><p>Experience contributing to business growth, frameworks or new work streams (highly desirable)</p><p>Ambitious, proactive and keen to be part of a growing division rather than a siloed role</p><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?sFiDUbGRNFcxEC8KptjzAxge0snAm1Rli" width="0" height="0" />
