<p><strong>Senior Data Engineer - £70,000-£80,000 - Hybrid (North West / Yorkshire)</strong></p><p>We're working with a growing organisation within the <strong>facilities management industry</strong> that's investing heavily in its data platform and looking to hire a <strong>Senior Data Engineer</strong>.</p><p>This role will play a key part in building a <strong>greenfield data warehouse</strong>, helping the business bring together data from newly acquired companies and integrating multiple systems into a scalable data platform.</p><p>You'll be joining at an exciting stage where data engineering is central to enabling better insights and decision-making across the organisation.</p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><ul><li>Design and build a new <strong>cloud-based data warehouse</strong></li><li>Develop scalable data pipelines and data models</li><li>Integrate data from newly acquired businesses and systems</li><li>Work closely with analytics and business teams to enable data-driven decision making</li><li>Support the evolution of the organisation's modern data platform</li></ul><p><strong>What They're Looking For</strong></p><ul><li>Strong experience in <strong>data engineering</strong></li><li>Around <strong>5 years experience with GCP</strong> (or strong AWS/Azure experience with interest in moving into GCP)</li><li>Experience building or contributing to <strong>data warehouses</strong></li><li>Strong understanding of data integration and pipeline development</li><li>Experience working with complex data environments or system integrations</li></ul><p><strong>Details</strong></p><ul><li>Salary: <strong>£70,000-£80,000</strong></li><li>Location: <strong>North West or Yorkshire</strong></li><li>Hybrid working: <strong>Typically 1 day per week in the office (more during major projects)</strong></li><li>Interview process: <strong>3 stages</strong></li></ul><p>This is a great opportunity to join a business in a <strong>high-growth sector</strong> where data is becoming a core part of the organisation's strategy.</p><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?Lvxcf8sYvdrJ0PMOJsUv8TpXfuVBBNx6n" width="0" height="0" />
