Send Tutor-Derbyshire

<p><strong>1:1 SEND Tutors Required - Derbyshire</strong>Spencer Clarke Tutors is working very closely with <strong>Derbyshire Local Authority</strong> and is looking to recruit <strong>1:1 tutors</strong> to support children and young people with <strong>SEND and SEMH needs</strong>. Tutors will deliver <strong>individualised tuition</strong> to learners who may be out of mainstream education or require additional support. Tuition will take place either <strong>in the child's home</strong> or in a <strong>local community setting</strong>, such as a library. <strong>Key responsibilities:</strong></p><ul><li>Plan and deliver tailored 1:1 sessions in line with the learner's needs</li><li>Support engagement, confidence, and educational progress</li><li>Adapt teaching approaches for SEND and SEMH learners</li><li>Provide feedback and basic progress updates</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Proven experience</strong> working with learners with SEND and/or SEMH needs is essential</li><li>QTS is <strong>desirable</strong> but not essential</li><li>Strong behaviour management and communication skills</li><li>Ability to work independently and adapt sessions as required</li></ul><p><strong>Additional information:</strong></p><ul><li>Flexible hours to suit availability</li><li>Sessions typically take place during the school day</li><li>Ongoing support provided by Spencer Clarke Tutors</li></ul><p>This role is ideal for teachers, tutors, or education professionals seeking flexible work while making a positive impact on vulnerable learners.</p><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?p4QwZ6nBSKnzFp9sIrPFTT5ovLqnANshe" width="0" height="0" />
