SEND 1:1 Teaching Assistant

<p>Are you an <strong>experienced Teaching Assistant</strong> with <strong>exceptional skills</strong> in <strong>behaviour management</strong> and de-escalation techniques? If so, Tradewind is looking for someone like you to join their team in a <strong>behavioural support role at a primary school in Salford.</strong></p><p>As a successful candidate, you will have experience in <strong>Team Teach, Pru, alternative provision</strong>, or as a support worker in a <strong>residential children's home</strong>. You will also have either a <strong>Level 2 or Level 3 qualification</strong> in teaching support or a related field.</p><p>In this role, you will:</p><ul><li>Work with se<strong>lected pupils outside of the classroom situation</strong>, including those excluded from or not working to a normal timetable.</li><li>You will <strong>develop 1:1 mentoring arrangements</strong> with pupils to help them agree on plans and targets to move forward.</li><li>You will provide information and advice to enable pupils to make choices about their own learning, behaviour, and attendance.</li><li>You will also provide support to pupils to enhance their emotional health and well-being </li><li>You will also involve helping pupils to f<strong>ollow individual Education Plans where appropriate</strong>, as well as assisting in organising and running small group interventions such as circle time.</li><li>You will also liaise with parents and carers as appropriate.</li></ul><p>To be considered for this role, you must be subject to an <strong>Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable), and professional references checks</strong>. You must also provide a <strong>CV with a full employment</strong> and education history included, with any employment breaks explained.
