<p><strong>SEN Teaching Assistant (Full Time / Part Time - Immediate Start)</strong></p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Staffordshire - Stoke-on-Trent</p><p><strong>Start Date:</strong> As soon as possible</p><p><strong>Contract:</strong> Day-to-Day, Short Term, Long Term & Temp-to-Perm</p><p><strong>Salary:</strong> £90-£100 per day (depending on experience and qualifications)</p><p><strong>Employer:</strong> Astro Education</p><p><strong>About the Role</strong></p><p>Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs?</p><p>Astro Education is working in partnership with a number of <strong>primary and secondary schools across Staffordshire and Stoke-on-Trent</strong> who are looking for dedicated and compassionate <strong>SEN Teaching Assistants</strong> to join their inclusive teams immediately.</p><p>You'll be supporting pupils with a range of additional needs, including <strong>autism (ASC), ADHD, social, emotional and mental health (SEMH), speech and language difficulties, and physical or sensory needs within Staffordshire and Stoke schools</strong>.</p><p>Your role will include:</p><ul><li>Supporting pupils on a <strong>1:1 or small-group basis</strong></li><li>Helping to implement <strong>EHCP targets and individual support plans</strong></li><li>Promoting inclusion, engagement, and positive behaviour</li><li>Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to support progress and wellbeing</li></ul><p>Whether you're an experienced <strong>SEN TA, Learning Support Assistant, Teaching Assistant, or Psychology graduate</strong>, we'd love to hear from you!</p><p><strong>What We're Looking For</strong></p><ul><li>Experience supporting children or young people with additional needs (school, childcare, or residential settings)</li><li>A calm, patient, and positive approach</li><li>A genuine passion for helping every child reach their full potential</li><li>Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)</li><li>DBS on the Update Service or willingness to apply for one</li></ul><p><strong>About Astro Education</strong></p><p>At <strong>Astro Education</strong>, we're <strong>transforming how schools and educators connect</strong>.
