We are currently seeking a Security Consultant to join our dynamic team for a 6-month contract. This role is crucial for supporting a fast-paced digital portfolio that includes cloud-hosted platforms, enterprise SaaS solutions, and integration-heavy services.</p><p><strong>Day-to-day of the role:</strong></p><ul><li>Support project-level security assurance and risk management activities.</li><li>Gather and document control evidence and assurance artefacts.</li><li>Maintain risk registers, actions, and remediation tracking.</li><li>Support audits, reviews, and formal assurance processes.</li><li>Work with delivery teams to implement agreed security controls.</li><li>Assist with cloud and SaaS security assurance tasks.</li><li>Ensure decisions, risks, and controls are clearly documented and traceable.</li></ul><p><strong>Required Skills & Qualifications:</strong></p><ul><li><strong>Essential</strong>: <ul><li>Experience supporting security assurance and risk management in live environments.</li><li>Familiarity with cloud and SaaS platforms (AWS exposure preferred).</li><li>Ability to work methodically with evidence, risks, and actions.</li><li>Comfortable working across multiple workstreams.</li><li>Practical, delivery-focused approach.</li></ul></li><li><strong>Desirable</strong>: <ul><li>Exposure to public sector or regulated environments.</li><li>Experience with ServiceNow, Salesforce, or similar SaaS platforms.</li><li>Interest or exposure to OT / IoT / PropTech security.</li></ul></li></ul><p><strong>Additional Information:</strong></p><ul><li>BPSS and active Security Clearance required.</li><li>This role offers hybrid working options, with locations in London and Birmingham.</li></ul><p>To apply for this Security Consultant position, please submit your CV and cover letter detailing your relevant experience and qualifications.</p><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?8BtgX7rrSYGrrtIS0frPt68zqZlauIcJy" width="0" height="0" />
