<p>Section Manager - Business, Finance & Management</p><p> <strong>Location:</strong> West London <strong>Contract:</strong> Full-time, permanent <strong>Salary:</strong> £57,939 - £52,165</p><p>We are seeking an experienced and motivated Section Manager - Business, Finance & Management to provide leadership and direction within Further Education.</p><p>This is a key middle-management role with responsibility for curriculum development, quality assurance, staff leadership and student success. The successful candidate will play a central role in shaping provision that meets the needs of learners, employers and awarding bodies.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p><strong>The post holder will:</strong></p><ul><li>Lead and manage curriculum provision across Business, Finance and Management</li><li>Drive high standards in teaching, learning and assessment, including lesson observation and quality improvement</li><li>Manage and develop lecturers, course teams and support staff</li><li>Oversee student recruitment, retention, progress and achievement</li><li>Coordinate curriculum planning, course development and submissions to awarding bodies</li><li>Teach across a range of programmes relevant to their specialism, which may include AAT and Higher Education</li><li>Work closely with employers and external partners to develop commercial and work-based learning opportunities</li><li>Contribute to marketing, employer engagement and business development</li><li>Deputise for the Head of School as required</li><li>Ensure full compliance with safeguarding, equality, health & safety and college policies</li></ul><p><strong>Person Specification</strong></p><p><strong>Essential:</strong></p><ul><li>A relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification in Business, Finance or a related area</li><li>A recognised FE teaching qualification (PGCE, DET or equivalent)</li><li>Minimum three years' successful teaching experience, preferably in Further Education</li><li>Experience of curriculum management or coordination</li><li>Proven ability to lead, motivate and manage staff</li><li>Strong knowledge of quality assurance and awarding body requirements</li><li>Excellent communication, organisational and IT skills</li><li>A clear commitment to inclusive learning, safeguarding and continuous professional development</li></ul><p><strong>Desirable:</strong></p><ul><li>Professional qualifications such as AAT, CIPD or ILM</li><li>Experience delivering or managing AAT, HE or employer-led programmes</li><li>Assessor and/or verifier qualifications</li></ul><p></p><p></p><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?KmGIYyL1tv6XCwiRm%2bONxcndRb2H0r7Fu" width="0" height="0" />
