<p><b>Regional Facilities Manager </b></p><p><b>Location: Coventry and Sheffield (Office Based)</b></p><p><b>Duration: Permanent, Full Time</b></p><p><b>Salary: £ Per Year</b></p><p><b>Role Overview</b></p><p>The Regional Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the effective delivery of facilities management services across a portfolio of student accommodation sites. Reporting into the Regional Operations Manager, the role provides a balanced level of technical oversight and operational delivery, ensuring buildings are safe, compliant, well maintained, and managed in a way that recognises the accommodation as residents' homes.</p><p>The role acts as the key link between operations teams and the supply chain, supporting the Regional Operations Manager while retaining ownership of FM standards, compliance, Health & Safety and building performance.</p><p><b>Key Responsibilities - Facilities & Maintenance Delivery</b></p><p></p><ul><li>Oversee planned and reactive maintenance delivery across multiple sites.</li><li>Ensure PPM schedules are in place, compliant, and delivered in line with statutory requirements and best practice.</li><li>Monitor asset condition and support lifecycle and remedial planning.</li><li>Act as escalation point for complex or high-risk maintenance issues.</li><li>Support the Regional Operations Manager with technical advice and prioritisation of work.</li></ul><p><b>Supply Chain & Contractor Management</b></p><p></p><ul><li>Manage and oversee the performance of external contractors and service partners.</li><li>Ensure contractors comply with company policies, health & safety standards, and resident conduct expectations.</li><li>Support procurement, onboarding, and performance reviews of suppliers.</li><li>Ensure value for money, service quality, and consistency across sites.</li><li>Monitor contractor documentation including RAMS, insurance, and accreditation.</li></ul><p><b>Statutory Compliance & Health & Safety</b></p><p></p><ul><li>Maintain oversight of all statutory compliance including fire safety, electrical, gas, water hygiene, lifts, and asbestos.</li><li>Ensure compliance documentation is accurate, up to date, and audit-ready.</li><li>Support site teams with inspections, audits, and remedial action tracking.</li><li>Assist in the development and implementation of risk assessments and safe systems of work.</li><li>Support incident investigation and follow-up actions.</li></ul><p><b>Reactive Maintenance & Resident Impact</b></p><p></p><ul><li>Oversee responsive repairs ensuring issues are resolved within agreed timescales.</li><li>Balance technical resolution with resident experience, recognising accommodation as the resident's home.</li><li>Support communication with residents regarding works, access, and disruption.</li><li>Ensure contractors and teams follow correct room entry procedures and resident protocols.</li></ul><p><b>ANUK Code & Resident-Focused Delivery</b></p><p></p><ul><li>Ensure facilities management practices align with the ANUK/Unipol Code of Standards.</li><li>Promote respectful, professional conduct when working in occupied accommodation.</li><li>Support operational teams in meeting regulatory and code-based requirements.</li><li>Contribute to a safe, secure, and well-maintained living environment for residents.</li></ul><p><b>Reporting & Performance</b></p><p></p><ul><li>Produce regular reports on compliance status, PPM delivery, reactive trends, and contractor performance.</li><li>Identify risks, trends, and improvement opportunities across the portfolio.</li><li>Support budget monitoring for maintenance and compliance-related expenditure.</li><li>Provide clear updates to the Regional Operations Manager and operational teams.</li></ul><p><b>Key Relationships</b></p><p></p><ul><li>Regional Operations Manager</li><li>Senior Operations Manager </li><li>Head of Operations </li><li>Approved contractors and suppliers</li><li>Health & Safety and Compliance Partners</li><li>Site maintenance operations</li></ul><p><b>Essential Requirements</b></p><p></p><ul><li>Experience in facilities management, building maintenance, or property services.</li><li>Experience working across multiple sites or complex operational environments.</li><li>Sound understanding of statutory compliance and health & safety requirements.</li><li>Experience managing contractors and supply chains.</li><li>Strong organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively with operational teams.</li><li>Willingness to travel regularly between sites.</li></ul><p><b>Desirable</b></p><p></p><ul><li>Experience within student accommodation, residential, or hospitality environments.</li><li>Knowledge of the ANUK/Unipol Code.</li><li>IOSH or equivalent health & safety qualification.</li><li>Understanding of asset lifecycle planning.</li></ul><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?fD6Rn5hL2vUUc%2fUicDdPw70f6Xq5uNB%2ba" width="0" height="0" />
