<p><strong>Pay:</strong> £45,000.00-£55,000.00 per year</p><p>Job Description:</p><p><strong>SHEQ Manager</strong></p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Dungiven, Northern Ireland (office-based with site visits across NI)<strong>Salary:</strong> £45,000 - £55,000 per annum (DOE)<strong>Sector:</strong> Construction / Civils / Utilities</p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p>We are recruiting an experienced <strong>SHEQ Manager</strong> to support a growing portfolio of construction, civil engineering and utilities projects across <strong>Northern Ireland</strong>. Based from the Dungiven office, this role offers the opportunity to play a key part in driving safety, quality and environmental excellence across both office and site operations.</p><p>This position suits a proactive SHEQ professional with a strong understanding of contractor-led environments, management systems and regulatory compliance, and who enjoys being visible on site while influencing a positive safety culture.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Lead and support all <strong>SHEQ activities</strong> across multiple projects, ensuring full compliance with current legislative and industry standards</li><li>Manage and continually improve the <strong>Integrated Management System (IMS)</strong> in line with ISO standards</li><li>Review, approve and maintain <strong>RAMS</strong> and safe systems of work</li><li>Conduct <strong>site audits, inspections and compliance reviews</strong>, producing reports and corrective actions</li><li>Support and lead <strong>incident, accident and near-miss investigations</strong>, including root cause analysis</li><li>Deliver <strong>site inductions, toolbox talks and SHEQ training</strong> to site teams and subcontractors</li><li>Assist with <strong>insurance claims</strong>, documentation and liaison with external stakeholders</li><li>Carry out <strong>internal audits</strong> and support external accreditation and surveillance audits</li><li>Provide SHEQ input into <strong>planning, contracts administration and operational decision-making</strong></li><li>Act as a key advisor to management, promoting continuous improvement and a strong safety culture</li></ul><p><strong>Candidate Requirements</strong></p><ul><li><strong>NEBOSH General Certificate</strong> (essential)</li><li>Minimum <strong>2 years' experience</strong> in a SHEQ, HSEQ or QHSE role within construction, civils or utilities</li><li>Strong working knowledge of <strong>ISO management systems</strong> (ISO 9001 essential; 14001 / 45001 desirable)</li><li>Proven experience reviewing RAMS and implementing safe systems of work</li><li>Confident conducting audits, inspections and delivering SHEQ training</li><li>Organised, commercially aware and capable of working across office and site environments</li><li>Strong communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels</li><li><strong>Full UK driving licence</strong> (essential)</li></ul><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?KmGIYyL1tv4LT%2b9LUI6Tc%2fq%2bH1H%2fxdgOu" width="0" height="0" />
