<p><strong>Project Manager (FTC)</strong></p><p><strong>Location</strong>: Glasgow / HybridSalary: £45,000 - £52,000 (pro rata, FTC)<strong>Contract</strong>: Fixed-Term Contract<strong>Working </strong><strong>Pattern</strong>: 2.5 days per week, weekly on-site presence (flexible - worked in blocks by agreement) </p><p><strong>The Opportunity</strong></p><p>A well-established organisation is recruiting an experienced Project Manager to support the final phase of a website upgrade, forming part of a wider systems improvement programme.</p><p>The existing website is currently in poor condition, and this role will play a key part in ensuring the upgraded site is delivered to a high standard, meeting accessibility, usability, and future-readiness expectations. You will join an existing project team and work closely with internal stakeholders and external suppliers to ensure successful delivery.This role would suit a Project Manager who enjoys meaningful, impact-driven work and can quickly add value within a structured project environment.</p><p></p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><p></p><ul><li>Lead delivery of the final phase of a website upgrade project through to completion</li><li>Manage external developers and third-party suppliers as the primary point of contact</li><li>Coordinate closely with in-house teams to manage inputs, dependencies, and expectations</li><li>Maintain project plans, timelines, risks, and delivery milestones</li><li>Ensure the website meets accessibility standards</li><li>Support delivery of a website that is as AI-ready and future-proofed as possible</li><li>Communicate clearly and pragmatically with stakeholders throughout the project life cycle.</li></ul><p><strong>About You</strong></p><p>You will be an experienced Project Manager with strong digital delivery experience and a collaborative working style.Essential experience:</p><ul><li>Proven experience delivering digital or website projects</li><li>Confident managing developers and third-party suppliers</li><li>Strong stakeholder management skills, including working with non-technical teams</li><li>Comfortable operating within structured project teams</li></ul><p>Desirable experience:</p><ul><li>WordPress CMS experience</li><li>Background in software development </li><li>Experience within the public sector, charity, or purpose-driven organisations</li></ul><p>Personal attributes:</p><ul><li>Positive, pragmatic approach</li><li>Clear and confident communicator</li><li>Comfortable managing expectations</li><li>Able to hit the ground running</li></ul><p><strong>What you need to do now</strong>If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.If this job isn't quite right for you, but you are looking for a new position, please contact us for a confidential discussion about your career.</p><p>Hays Specialist Recruitment Limited acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
