Procurement Manager - Freelance

Procurement Manager (Freelance - 9 months) <p>Location: North Chilterns Area, just outside Aylesbury.</p> Responsibilities <ul> <li>Procure within a section of works, manage tender, award, and recommendations of works packages and orders.</li> <li>Act as the face of EKFB ensuring all communication, negotiations and interactions with the supply chain reflect the company's values.</li> <li>Ensure procurement exercises align with value based decisions and not purely lowest cost.</li> <li>Engage internal stakeholders throughout the process and endorse any recommendations.</li> <li>Prepare and deliver internal presentations to key stakeholders articulating package strategies and award recommendations.</li> <li>Assess the capacity of the market during the tendering process.</li> </ul> Qualifications <ul> <li>Excellent written communication and drafting of formal subcontract documents.</li> <li>Experience with NEC contracts.</li> <li>Knowledge of supply chain principles, procedures, and methods.</li> <li>Proven analytical, problem solving and organisational skills.</li> <li>Able to manage diverse internal and external stakeholders to achieve successful project outcomes.</li> <li>Valid driving licence and access to a vehicle.</li> </ul> Benefits <p>Competitive salary and benefits.</p> Prerequisites <p>BPSS security clearance to be obtained during onboarding.
