<p><strong>Start Date:</strong> May 2026<strong>Contract:</strong> Maternity cover until the substantive postholder returns<strong>Location:</strong> East Lancashire</p><p>We are working in partnership with a <strong>welcoming and inclusive primary school</strong> in East Lancashire to appoint a <strong>committed and enthusiastic Year 3 Teacher</strong> to cover a maternity leave from <strong>May 2026</strong>.</p><p><strong>The School</strong></p><p>This is a <strong>Good-rated</strong> community primary school with a strong reputation for being <strong>caring, nurturing and ambitious for all pupils</strong>. Staff work closely together to ensure pupils feel safe, valued, and supported to thrive both academically and personally. </p><p>The school serves a diverse community with many pupils who speak <strong>English as an Additional Language (EAL)</strong> and a significant number requiring <strong>SEND support</strong>. Leaders and teachers know their pupils well and place a high priority on communication, language development, and inclusive practice. </p><p>The curriculum is <strong>broad, balanced and ambitious</strong>, firmly aligned with the National Curriculum and enriched through visits, enrichment activities and extra-curricular opportunities.
