<p>Nursery Assistant - Long Term to Permanent Role</p><p><strong>Location:</strong> Stoke-on-Trent and Staffordshire</p><p><strong>Pay:</strong> £85- £95 per day</p><p><strong>Hours:</strong> Term Time Only (8:00am - 4:00pm or 9:00am - 3:00pm)</p><p><strong>Age Group:</strong> 0-4 years</p><p></p><p>About the Role</p><p>Astro Education are currently recruiting enthusiastic and reliable <strong>Nursery Assistants</strong> to support children aged <strong>0-4 years</strong> across <strong>Stoke-on-Trent</strong> and <strong>Staffordshire</strong>.</p><p>This is an excellent <strong>long term to permanent opportunity</strong> for those passionate about Early Years education and looking to build a rewarding and secure career in a supportive nursery environment.</p><p>You will work alongside experienced Early Years Practitioners and educators to provide exceptional care, learning and development support for young children.</p><p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong></p><ul><li>Support the learning and development of children aged 0-4 years in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework</li><li>Assist with daily routines, play-based learning, and developmental activities</li><li>Provide a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment</li><li>Work collaboratively with the nursery team to deliver high-quality childcare</li><li>Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues</li></ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><ul><li>Experience working in a nursery, preschool, or early years setting</li><li>Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years (or equivalent experience)</li><li>A caring, patient and professional approach</li><li>Strong communication and teamwork skills</li><li>Availability to work term time only, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 4:00pm</li></ul><p></p><p><strong>Why Work with Astro Education?</strong></p><p>Astro Education are a trusted education recruitment agency, connecting passionate educators with high-quality early years and school settings across Staffordshire.
