<p>Music Teacher (Permanent)</p><p> <strong>Cambridgeshire</strong> <strong>Start Date:</strong> September 2026 <strong>Contract:</strong> Full Time, Permanent <strong>Salary:</strong> £33,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience)</p><p>REED Education is delighted to be working in partnership with an <strong>Ofsted-rated 'Outstanding' secondary school</strong> in Cambridgeshire to recruit a <strong>talented and enthusiastic Music Teacher</strong> for a <strong>full-time, permanent role starting September 2026</strong>.</p><p>This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-achieving school with a strong commitment to the arts, excellent facilities, and a supportive leadership team that values creativity and staff development.</p><p>The Role:</p><ul><li>Deliver high-quality Music lessons across <strong>KS3 and KS4</strong> (KS5 desirable but not essential)</li><li>Inspire a love of music through performance, composition, and listening</li><li>Teach a range of musical styles and support instrumental and vocal development</li><li>Plan, assess, and adapt lessons to meet the needs of students of varying abilities</li><li>Contribute to a collaborative and creative Music department</li><li>Support and, where appropriate, contribute to extracurricular activities such as ensembles, concerts, or school productions</li><li>Play an active role in the wider life of the school</li></ul><p>The Ideal Candidate:</p><ul><li>Ideally <strong>QTS</strong> (or working towards it), though <strong>strong unqualified teachers will be considered</strong></li><li>Passionate about Music education and inspiring young musicians</li><li>Confident classroom and practical teaching skills</li><li>Strong organisation, communication, and behaviour management</li><li>Committed to high standards and student progress</li><li><strong>ECTs and experienced teachers</strong> are encouraged to apply</li></ul><p>The School Offers:</p><ul><li><strong>Ofsted 'Outstanding'</strong> rating</li><li>Supportive, inclusive, and professional working environment</li><li>Excellent CPD and clear career progression opportunities</li><li>Well-behaved, motivated students with a strong interest in the arts</li><li>Leadership team with a genuine focus on staff wellbeing</li></ul><p>How to Apply:</p><p>To apply or to find out more, please contact <strong>REED Education</strong> today.
