<strong>Multi-Skilled Engineer</strong><p><strong>Location:</strong> Swadlincote <strong>Salary:</strong> £46,000 + Overtime<strong>Shifts:</strong> 4 on 4 off 12 hour days and nights - Continental</p><p><strong>The Role</strong></p><p>We are recruiting for a Multi-Skilled Engineer to join a leading heavy industrial manufacturer. This role is key to ensuring the reliability and efficiency of production machinery across the site.</p><p>You will be responsible for both reactive and planned maintenance, working on a range of heavy plant and manufacturing equipment in a fast-paced environment.</p><strong>Key Responsibilities</strong><ul><li>Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) across all machinery</li><li>Respond quickly to breakdowns and minimise downtime</li><li>Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults</li><li>Repair and maintain heavy industrial equipment</li><li>Work on hydraulics, pneumatics, motors, gearboxes, and conveyors</li><li>Support continuous improvement and reliability projects</li><li>Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety standards</li></ul><strong>Requirements</strong><ul><li>Multi-skilled engineer (electrical or mechanical bias)</li><li>Experience within heavy industry / manufacturing (e.g. steel, cement, recycling, aggregates)</li><li>Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills</li><li>Experience with PLC fault finding (desirable)</li><li>Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics</li><li>Engineering qualification (NVQ Level 3 / HNC or equivalent)</li><li>Welding </li></ul><strong>What's on Offer</strong><ul><li>Competitive salary + overtime</li><li>Stable, well-established business</li><li>Opportunities for progression and training</li><li>Pension and benefits package</li></ul><p> If you feel this is of interest please send your CV directly to Dan at or call for a confidential discussion on </p><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?fD6Rn5hL2vXDHB5CvD%2fx4osMIZxqQtvNa" width="0" height="0" />
