MEP Project Manager

<p>Immediate start available, 6 months initial duration.</p><ul><li>Lead and manage the delivery of projects, ensuring successful design, procurement, installation, commissioning, and handover of MEP systems. Maintain compliance, governance, and performance standards throughout all phases of the project.</li><li><strong>Project Leadership:</strong></li><li>Oversee day-to-day operational management of MEP works within construction projects.</li><li>Implement and monitor end-to-end project programmes, set milestones, and manage deliverables.</li><li>Develop contingency plans (Plan B) for risk mitigation.</li><li><strong>Design & Technical Oversight:</strong></li><li>Ensure full compliance with design, engineering, construction, and commissioning processes.</li><li>Challenge design solutions to improve buildability and reduce whole-life costs.</li><li><strong>Commercial & Contractual Management:</strong></li><li>Control commercial aspects of the project, including financial forecasting and cost-value reconciliation (CVR).</li><li><strong>Quality & Compliance:</strong></li><li>Develop and administer project controls to ensure governance and standards are met.</li><li>Lead lessons-learned reviews for continuous improvement. </li></ul><p>Skills and experience:</p><ul><li>Proven experience managing MEP contracts (circa ?1M) within commercial schemes.</li><li>Strong knowledge of multi-disciplinary coordination and work sequencing.</li><li>Track record of delivering projects on time and within budget.</li><li><strong>Education:</strong></li><li>Electrical/Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering, or related discipline.</li><li><strong>Professional Certifications:</strong></li><li><strong>LV Authorised Person (LV AP)</strong> certification for safe operation and isolation of low-voltage electrical systems.</li><li>HTM 06-01, HTM 06-02 Qualification.</li><li>IOSH or NEBOSH Health & Safety certification (desirable).</li><li><strong>Technical Competence:</strong></li><li>Strong understanding of BS7671 Wiring Regulations and relevant electrical standards.</li><li>Familiarity with HV/LV switching procedures and permit-to-work systems.</li><li><strong>Experience:</strong></li><li>Proven track record managing large-scale MEP projects (circa ?1M).</li><li>Ability to manage multi-disciplinary teams and complex interfaces. </li></ul><p></p><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?fD6Rn5hL2vWs8wVm9qh5ccUCgJO28I%2faa" width="0" height="0" />
