Manufacturing Controller

<strong>World Class Defence Organisation based in Bolton, Lancashire is currently looking to recruit a Manufacturing Controller subcontractors on an initial 12 month contract. </strong><strong>This role requires someone with Stores experience within a manufacturing environment. </strong><strong>Hourly Rate: </strong>£24.78ph, after 12 weeks the rate increases to £26.12ph. Overtime hours (over 37 hours) are at normal hourly rate plus 50% <strong>Overtime Rate:</strong> Hours worked over 37 hours per week, are worked at the Overtime rate of time and a half. <strong>Contract Duration: </strong>12 Months (initially and then ongoing and long-term thereafter)<strong>Manufacturing Controller Job Description:</strong>The Manufacturing Controller role will involve issue, receipt and management of stores and inventory in a stores environment. Loading, control and monitoring of work packages in a manufacturing environment.<strong>Responsibilities:</strong><ul><li>Stock control / storekeeping including shelf life control.</li><li>Loading the manufacturing cells with the requisite jobs in accordance with planned lead and cycle times, in order to comply with manufacturing programmes and delivery schedules.</li><li>Packing including the use of hand tools. Receiving and issuing of tooling.</li><li>Updating computer records.</li><li>Kitting activity.</li><li>Loading and unloading of Lorries.</li></ul><strong>Skillset/experience required:</strong><ul><li>Experience in a stores environment or manufacturing control.</li><li>Follow instructions.</li><li>Willing to work flexible shift patterns.</li><li>Attention to detail.</li><li>Work on own with minimal supervision.</li><li>Use own initiative.</li><li></li><li>Manual handling training.</li><li>Lifting & Slinging training (Including overhead cranes).</li><li>ESD training.</li></ul><strong>Desirable skills: </strong><ul><li>PC skills, including EXCEL.</li><li>Fork lift truck licence.</li><li>Knowledge of Kanban and 2 bin systems.</li><li>Experience with an Enterprise Planning System e.g. SAP.</li></ul><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?kvKO%2fmG%2frVqJNSjp1jDZJF6Js2rFSUQ0g" width="0" height="0" />
