<p><strong>Behaviour Mentor (Male) - London</strong><strong>Full-Time Long-Term Immediate Start</strong><strong>£85-£100 per day</strong></p><p>We are working with a number of specialist schools across <strong>London</strong> who are seeking a confident, empathetic and resilient <strong>Male Behaviour Mentor</strong> to join their teams immediately.</p><p>This is a highly rewarding role supporting young people with <strong>Social, Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) needs</strong>, helping them to regulate behaviour, build positive relationships with adults, and develop strategies to manage their emotions and behaviour more effectively.</p><p>A <strong>sports background is highly desirable</strong> for this role, as many students respond positively to structured, active, and team-based approaches that help build trust, discipline and engagement.</p><strong>Key Responsibilities:</strong><ul><li>Provide 1:1 and small group mentoring for students with SEMH and behavioural needs</li><li>Support emotional regulation, resilience and positive behaviour choices</li><li>Use consistent behaviour strategies including de-escalation and restorative approaches</li><li>Work closely with teachers, pastoral teams and external agencies</li><li>Help create a safe, structured and supportive learning environment</li></ul><strong>The Ideal Candidate:</strong><ul><li>Experience in behaviour support, youth work, mentoring, coaching or education</li><li>A background in <strong>sports, coaching or physical activity</strong> is strongly preferred</li><li>Calm, confident approach when managing challenging behaviour</li><li>Strong ability to build rapport with young people who may struggle with trust or authority</li><li>Understanding of trauma-informed practice and de-escalation strategies</li><li>Reliable, proactive and committed to supporting vulnerable learners</li></ul><p>This is an excellent opportunity to join supportive specialist settings where staff make a real difference to students' behaviour, confidence and long-term outcomes.</p><img src="https://www.jobg8.com/Tracking.aspx?Ae5qx6keinzRgduaIuBMjV1mryMMAZ0ts" width="0" height="0" />
